Testing A Custom ifttt Applet

I've made an applet so that when I hit the publish button on Blogger my wife receives a text message to notify her.  This is in no way meant to annoy her at all.

Here's where I created this

Just an update: I needed to enable SMS permissions in android settings --> apps --> ifttt --> permissions --> SMS

My Path Through Home Automation Begins

ifttt.com - lets you link events you have available through services and some hardware sensors to actions that are run by totally different services.

This is a great example of how I got started.
